Studio Policies
Payment Policy
Payment must be made in full for all products, classes, workshops, memberships, studio access, and other services prior to receiving the product or participating in the service.
Bookings are not confirmed until payment has been received. Little Earth Studio reserves the right to refuse participation, withhold products, or cancel bookings where payment has not been completed.
Any outstanding fees, including firing fees, studio access charges, or additional material costs, must be paid before finished work is collected.
Collection of Work
Work must be collected in a reasonable timeframe.
Uncollected items may be:
- Stored temporarily
- Recycled or disposed of after notice
- Reused for studio purposes
Personal Property
All items are stored at the owner’s risk.
The studio is not responsible for loss, theft, or damage.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- The studio is not responsible for loss or damage to work or belongings
- Members accept all risks associated with ceramics and kiln processes
- Liability is limited to re-supply of services or refunds where required
Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in this handbook excludes your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
Services are provided with due care and skill and must be fit for purpose.
Kiln Firing Terms
All kiln firing is governed by the full Kiln Firing Service Terms & Conditions.
By submitting work, you agree that:
- Ceramics involve natural risk
- Outcomes cannot be guaranteed
- The studio may refuse unsafe work
- You accept responsibility for preparation and suitability of work
