We created Little Earth Studio to be more than just a pottery studio. It's a place to step away from busy schedules, get your hands dirty,
and reconnect with the simple joy of making something yourself. There’s something special about transforming a
lump of clay into a piece that is uniquely your own—and we love sharing that experience with our community.
Our workshops and classes are designed to be approachable, fun, and inspiring. We focus on creativity over perfection,

Members enjoy ongoing access to the studio, giving them the freedom to work on pottery projects at their own pace while
becoming part of a supportive and like-minded creative community.
The studio isn't just for clay. Members are welcome to use the space for journaling, sketching, reading, planning,

Meet The Founders of Little Earth Studio
Emma Alsop
Emma’s creative journey began as a child, digging up clay at Point Leo Beach during her summer holidays. The smell and feel of the clay sparked a sense of excitement and the freedom to create something beautiful. Her exploration of ceramics has allowed her to experiment with different clay bodies and glazes, pushing boundaries and discovering new possibilities and techniques. Emma finds inspiration in the vastness, colours, textures and contrasts of her natural surroundings, bringing these influences into her creative practice.
Shelley Booth
Shelley’s love of ceramics began at the age of 12 and grew into a Bachelor of Applied Arts in Ceramics from Monash University. Her practice explores hand-built sculptural forms, often inspired by the feminine form, history and the beauty of softness. Alongside her sculptural work, Shelley loves creating handmade functional pieces that bring a little something special into everyday life. She is passionate about sharing her love of clay with others and helping people discover their own creativity.
